Regaining my fit(ter) self. Played basketball. Went swimming. Perhaps, jogging if I have the mood.
(I get very bored when I jog)

Job and house-hunting soon (or now).
Post-A level period will be a bitter-sweet one, I suppose, sweeter than bitter though.
During the temporary, 'long' break after A's, I'll see myself having wonderful moments with my friends and family, eating good food, working, going on some trips and doing some volunteer work while waiting for my results and uni to commence. (looongg sentence oops)

I may no longer see some of my secondary/jc friends. Everyone has his own path to follow - that can't be helped. Be that as it may, the memories will be unforgettable - the birthday parties, random truth-or-dares, (more than a)weekly study dates, basketball games, scandals, ...
I wish it wouldn't be hard to part. Many things no longer be the same.

Make new pals.
Keep in touch with the old ones, as best as you could, aiye...

(pink, but not-so-crazily pink hair and make-up) Gale's not bad. Peeta...has an innocent boy face. (No wonder, Katniss got to do her best to keep themselves alive) I really really really can't wait for 23 march to come!

Jennifer Lawrence's acting is superb. and she's beautiful :)))

It is about a week before the start of A's and no, i haven't burned myself out yet. Good thing I have Ankee to camp with at the library and to engage in 'trade' as in transfer of knowledge since she and I have comparative advantages in Econs and Maths respectively :p
nerd.
(hahaha sorry! ;p)


As usual, I already have some post-A's plans in mind - something to motivate me to press on and keep going:
- meeting Grandpa, and the rest of the family members of course
- getting my driving license (have been driving 'illegally'...oops...not in SG though :p) 
- Mum's cooking<3
- meeting indo friends+home tours+stayovers+kitchen sessions
- reading Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol" (finally), Koushun Takami's "Battle Royale", William Golding's "Lord of the Flies", and blah blah blah...
- basketball training!
- family trip to Bali!! (cancelled it in june due to commitments to jct+project)
(other plans:)
- employment 8D Some EXP* would come in useful :) and partly, to earn some cash and buy some gifts for my grandparents, Mum and Dad.

So far, that's the plan :)


Gotta study hard for now! no pain, no gain! :)

A few months ago, the 8-year old Sophia Grace sang Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" (like a diva!) and the video went viral on Youtube. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7hTAp6KrGY)
Then, she had a shock of her life when she met Nicki in flesh in the Ellen Degeneres Show! (E-P-I-C reaction)
They sang "Super Bass" together in the show, at last :)
Gosh I'm liking Nicki Minaj now! She was very sweet to the children =))

(it's sad to admit that the creativity is diminishing as we age..well, never mind)

Looking forward to the end of them is better - i thought.

"holidays" before prelims

During the (short) 2-week "holidays", i've been..

- mugging. duh -.-

- reading The Hunger Games.
Katniss Everdeen, one of the main characters, is cool and brave (and i love her sarcasm) :p

About The Hunger Games:
"The Hunger Games, established by the Capitol, is an annual event in which twenty-four children between the ages of twelve and eighteen, one boy and one girl from each district, are chosen from a lottery and entered a gladitorial competition where they must fight each other to the death until only one remains standing.

Simply put, there is only one way to win the Hunger Games - kill, or be killed.
I like the concept, the story, and the writing - and it is kind of insulting that some websites are comparing Twilight and The Hunger Games (love triangle)..bleah..
(oh please) Katniss isn't a damsel in distress - i made my friend read the book, and we are both crazy about her - her "signature braid", bow and arrows, and...
I admire her bravery and her rebellious spirit ;)

Can't wait for the movie to be released! XDD

Hardly did I ever celebrate my birthday with a "Happy Birthday" song until I came to SG ;p

I mean, none of my family members sings such songs! And in my home country, (at least) my schoolmates did not have such culture - singing "Happy Birthday" on someone's birthday.
