love.
Ha. Some of my friends are in a not-so-good terms with their gf/bfs. Having listened to many stories, and having witnessed disagreements and unhappiness due to relationship issues have made me think thrice, no, multiple number of times before I get into one.
Good times are sweet. But I am not sure if i'm ready enough to face downhill moments.
Well, perhaps i'm just...uh, still..an amateur in this kind of thing.
Cause I never said "yes" unless i'm really really REALLY sure about my own feelings.
You don't want to betray, or become half-hearted when you are with that special someone right?
Hopefully, if "the one" comes into my life, I'd like to make sure (as best as I can) that the feelings are mutual, and that we like each other's companionship despite the imperfections.
And being single is not so bad at all! :D There're tens and hundreds of articles on why being single rules - many of which are related to selfishness, sadly.
One article mentioned that "you can never get dumped."
LOLL..i mean, yeah that is a 'logical' point but it can be understood if someone is afraid of getting a relationship because of the emotional injury that may (possibly) be inflicted during the ups and downs BUT NOT because one is scared of getting dumped -- How do you know that you're getting dumped in the first place?
Again, it's just a point of view from an 17-year old who is totally not a veteran at this kind of "issues", and therefore, she is not immune to mistakes - verbally, practically, and ideologically :D
